Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana,  Felicity's passion for creativity and beauty was evident from a young age. Her journey as a makeup artist didn’t begin in a glamorous studio—it began with countless hours of watching YouTube tutorials, practicing on herself and friends, and building her skills through hands-on experience and dedication.

In 2011, Felicity’s husband, a Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force, received orders to relocate the family to San Antonio, Texas. While adjusting to life in a new city, Felicity worked as a pharmacy technician for three years. However, her passion for beauty remained her driving force. Recognizing her potential, her husband surprised her by enrolling her in cosmetology school in February 2016.

While balancing school, family, and life, Felicity began building a clientele, gradually transforming her passion into a thriving business. She graduated in January 2017, and by June of that year, Felicity Buie Makeup Artistry was officially born. Although her journey initially included hairstyling, it became clear that makeup was her true calling. Felicity discovered a deep connection to makeup’s ability to transform, enhance, and boost confidence.

Today, her journey is defined by continuous growth, innovation, and dedication. Her work has been featured in Pepper Magazine Vol. 2/No. 3, Voyage San Antonio, Canvas Rebel, and IMDb for her contributions to a trailer project. She has also been recognized with The Knot Best of Weddings 2022 Award. With glowing 5-star ratings on Google and The Knot, Felicity’s clients consistently praise her professionalism, precision, and ability to create memorable beauty experiences.
